It’s March of 2020 and Haviland is desperately trying to make herself useful, but her parents just want her to stay safe. Against their wishes, she visits Ruth, a neighbor struggling with dementia.

India Kotis (WRITER) is a playwright and anthropologist. She is currently a member of The Women Playwright’s Circle @ Speranza Theatre and BMI Lehman-Engel Librettists Workshop. Plays include PHILIA (James E. Michael Prize in Playwriting), SYBILLE OF HARROGATE (G45 Productions, under the name “Here Be Monsters”), THE SECRET LIFE OF BICYCLES (The Blank Theatre), THE TANGIBLES (Rascal Arts; published by Playscripts in 2016) and PHONEBANK KISMET (The Truth!!!), among others. She is a two-time alumnus of Young Playwrights, Inc.’s Advanced Playwriting Workshop, and a recipient of their 2015 National Competition.
