Jaymes Jorsling (WRITER, CUTTER) is an artist-in-residence at Brown University, working on his play Tripping Over Roots. This is part of a trilogy “Insufficient funds!” which addresses where America is headed, unless fairness and freedom become as inalienable as they are obliged to be. Commissions and awards include Duke, NPR/WNYC/Greene Space, Eugene O’Neill Conference fellow, UCross residency, Lower Manhattan Community Council Fellowship, and finalist for the Lark Playwright’s Week. Jaymes has also worked in ABC’s EyeWitness Newsroom and on the graveyard shift in Bellevue Hospital’s ER.
