Associate Producer — The Truth Podcast

The Truth Podcast is hiring a part-time associate producer. The associate producer will report to the
producer and coordinate episode production for The Truth from start to finish. NYC-based applicants
are preferred, as the associate producer is required to attend meetings and recording sessions, but
please note that we do not have physical offices, so much of the administrative work will take place
remotely.

The position is 20 hours/week and pays $2000 monthly.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the show’s production schedule.

• Scheduling meetings and recording sessions.

• Coordinating writing submissions, casting, and auditions.

• Managing payroll: collecting invoices and tax documents from writers/actors, writing/mailing
  checks, and tracking overall budget.

• Providing feedback on scripts and episode drafts.

• Maintaining the website and writing marketing copy.

The ideal candidate has:

• Strong, dependable organizational skills.

• A familiarity with audio production.

• Storytelling chops, especially when it comes to writing for the ear.

• A love and knowledge of fiction podcasts in general.
